Our client, a successful high street fashion brand is looking for a Head of Digital Commerce.


You will be accountable for online channels and setting the benchmark of best in class standard for the global operations. This position will report to the Managing Director.

The Role


Responsibilities:

  • As the head of our online trading/digital commerce function, you will have full responsibility for the Digital P&L.

  • As a key member of the Senior Leadership team, you will be tasked with balancing Global requirements with local customer facing and commercial objectives.

  • You will be expected to own and deliver the set business growth plans through e-commerce trading, planning of content, managing workflows, delivering projects and customer communications.

  • Actively leading and coaching a team of managers and dedicated team members, through growth and development opportunities to maximise engagement.

  • Ensure alignment with global vision whilst maintaining local relevance.

  • Alignment of inventory demand, and sales plan through accurate forecasting with finance and supply chain.

  • Responsible for developing and executing trading strategies to drive performance and achieve sales and profit targets.

  • Ensure the entire business is co-ordinated and aligned behind the online trading priorities.


About You


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Previous experience:

  • P&L responsibility.

  • Experience defining and driving digital to achieve sales objectives and hit targets, while preserving and building the Brand integrity.

  • Planning and executing marketing and promotional calendar, driving sales and margin, improving average transaction size, and order frequency.

  • Identifying required site updates to improve site performance and drive sales/ margin.

  • Driving an agenda for mobile and web site optimisation, technical and aesthetic, navigation, performance and functionality to positively impact e commerce efforts.

  • Experience leading commercial drivers for the business e.g. traffic, conversion

  • Managing the monthly/annual sales and business reports, providing detailed analysis on key business metrics including site performance, conversion rates, sales by product and all digital channels.
